Do I need an account to use JustYou?
No. JustYou never asks for an email, username or password. You set a PIN on your iPhone and start typing.
Is JustYou free?
Yes. The free plan includes your Personal chat and Inbox, plus one extra thread of your own, unlimited text notes and search. Premium is £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial for new annual subscribers.
Where are my notes stored?
On your iPhone, encrypted at rest. If you turn on iCloud sync (Premium), a copy goes to your own private iCloud, never to a JustYou server. There is no JustYou server.
Is JustYou a private alternative to messaging yourself on WhatsApp?
Yes. It works like texting yourself, but the notes stay on your phone, are locked behind your PIN or Face ID, and are organised into reminders, lists, links and threads automatically. How it compares.
